The legendary climb to Vršič Pass (1,611 m) — one of the most beautiful and iconic mountain climbs in the Alps. The same route that professional cyclists will ride just hours after you at the Tour of Slovenia. The views of the Julian Alps and the Soča Valley are stunning, but there are no shortcuts on this road.

Explore the route in full detail — from the start in Kranjska Gora, through Riofreddo and Predel, all the way to the legendary climb to Vršič. The interactive map and climb profile let you get to know every section and every metre of elevation gain.

The entire route runs on paved roads, ensuring an excellent riding experience and comparable results.

Two refreshment stations are provided along the way:

AID 1 at km 24.5
AID 2 at km 52.5

The climb to Vršič begins at kilometre 61, where the KOM segment timing also starts, finishing at km 74.4 at the summit.

Important: official timing runs exclusively from the start in Kranjska Gora to the top of Vršič Pass. The descent back to Kranjska Gora is not included in the official timing.

This means results will be directly comparable with professional cyclists — especially on the legendary Vršič climb segment ( KOM ), where the most prestigious times are set.

MyTour 2026 takes place on June 20, 2026 on the Tour of Slovenia stage route Kranjska Gora – Riofreddo – Predel (ITA) – Trenta – Vršič . The start will be in the morning before the professional stage — the exact schedule will be sent after registration is confirmed.

The entry fee is €99 and is all-inclusive — no hidden costs. Included: official MyTour jersey, race number, professional chip timing, access to the MyZone finish area for the official Tour of Slovenia, refreshment stations on the route, support vehicles with mechanics, and a medical team along the entire route.

If the Stripe payment is unsuccessful, your registration is not confirmed and your spot is not reserved. You'll receive a notification about the failed payment with instructions to try again. We recommend retrying as soon as possible, as spots are limited to 500. If you experience issues, contact us at info@mytour.si.

Cancellation is possible until May 31, 2026. In this case, you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the entry fee, minus administrative/banking costs of €35.

After this date, cancellation is no longer possible. You may only transfer your registration to another person, in accordance with the organiser's rules.

Exceptionally, cancellation after May 31 is allowed only with appropriate documentation (e.g. a medical certificate), in which case the administrative fee of €35 is retained.

Transfer of registration to another person is possible until June 10, 2026. Send the request to info@mytour.si with the name and details of the person the transfer is made to.

The race is designed for road bikes, but you can also participate with a gravel, mountain, or trekking bike.

E-bikes are not allowed.

Your bike must be in perfect mechanical condition — we recommend a check-up with a mechanic before the race.

The Kranjska Gora — Vršič route is 87 km long with a total of 1,960 metres of elevation gain and a climb to the highest point of 1,611 m at Vršič Pass.

The total climb is demanding but achievable for any well-prepared recreational cyclist. There are no time limits for finishing — every participant can ride at their own pace.

Refreshment stations and technical support are provided along the route.

There are a total of 500 spots available. Once all spots are taken, registration is no longer possible. We recommend signing up early. We currently do not maintain a waiting list — follow our official channels for any released spots.

After successfully completing the form and confirming payment, you'll receive a confirmation email at the address you provided in the registration form. The email contains a summary of your registration, an invoice, and further instructions. If you don't receive confirmation within 30 minutes, check your spam folder or contact us.

Bring with you:

Personal ID (identity card or passport)
Confirmation email (printed or on your phone)
A mechanically sound bike with a helmet
Appropriate cycling gear for the weather
Food and drink for the start (refreshment stations are available on the route)

You'll pick up your race number and other items at registration on race day morning. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Official timing is measured from the start in Kranjska Gora to the top of Vršič Pass. The descent back to Kranjska Gora is not included in the official timing.

The KOM segment is also timed on the Vršič climb, where participants can directly compare their results with the times of professional cyclists.

For an officially completed race and valid ranking, all participants must continue the route after reaching the summit and cross the finish line in Kranjska Gora.

Yes — official results will be published on the website within 24 hours after the race. Each participant receives their personal time, ranking in their age category, and overall ranking. Results are public and accessible to everyone.
